The Naked Farmer was started from our passion for farm to fork clean meats.
"Naked" meaning in the raw in the buff. No chemicals, no antibiotics. Just sunshine and swine so divine.
We designed this to be a niche one of a kind farm to serve our community and beyond! We sell proper pork!
The Naked Farmer was founded in 2019 by Kerry and Michael Godfrey. As we started our journey into pasture raised pork we knew what our farm vision was but, couldn't figure out a name for our farm. One night Michael was sitting around with buddies joking as usual and a friend asked him what he thought was a good name. He said the "Naked" Farmer because what we do is in the raw and in the buff. So, The Naked Farmer was born. We raise purebred Duroc, Hampshire and Berkshire pigs on pasture with no hormones, or antibiotics. Kerry Godfrey is a professionally trained chef who also works the farm.
Michael was a Marine 3/8. He served his country and sadly lost his life to PTSD last December 2022. His daughter Marlo and I honor his legacy by continuing to work the farm and grow our companies with locations both in Georgia and North Carolina.
We offer a wide range of pork products including 5 types of sausages, whole fresh hams, fresh pork belly, bone in and out pork chops, loin roasts, tenderloin baby back and spare ribs. We also do whole suckling pigs. We offer catering and private chef services as well, with a separate service menu to be added in November for both locations.
