The Naked Farmer was founded in 2019 by Kerry and Michael Godfrey. As they started their journey into pasture raised pork, they knew what the farm vision was. But, they couldn't figure out a name for the farm. One night Michael was sitting around with his Marine brothers joking as usual and they asked him what he thought was a good name. He said the "Naked farmer because we do antibiotic, hormone free pure bred meats. The word "naked" means in the raw and in the buff.
So, The Naked Farmer was born.
We raise purebred Duroc, Hampshire, Berkshire pigs and Turkeys on pasture.
Kerry, a professionally trained chef and lifetime farmer, continues to run and grow the farm. She expanded the company in October of 2024 to include a farm to table catering business.
Sadly, Michael a United States Marine lost his battle to PTSD.
